Philip Mouton
Philip Mouton is a Certified Hypnotherapist with the International Medical & Dental Hypnotherapy Association (USA) and runs a private practice in Knysna, South Africa. With a deep commitment to transformation, Philip blends professional training with real-world impact to help individuals and organisations unlock lasting change.
He is the founder of the International Academy of Hypnosis and Healing Arts (IAHHA), a global platform for excellence in hypnotherapy education. Through IAHHA, Philip created HypnoMastery™, one of the most advanced and comprehensive hypnotherapy training programs available today. His mission is to train, mentor, and certify the next generation of hypnotherapists, ensuring that education in the field meets the highest international standards.
Philip is also the creator of the ClearShift™ Smoking Cessation Program, a premium, results-driven approach used by corporate organisations. It combines advanced hypnotherapy with deep personalisation to help individuals break free from smoking and vaping, especially those who haven't succeeded with generic, group-based offerings like Allen Carr. It is now gaining recognition as a high-impact wellbeing solution for the corporate space.
His unique approach to hypnotic transformation was shaped in part by his mentorship with Jonathan Chase, one of Britain’s leading stage hypnotists and mentalists. This experience deeply influenced Philip’s understanding of subconscious influence, engagement, and the true power of suggestion.
In recognition of his work, Philip was featured in the Jan/Feb 2022 edition of Fair Lady magazine, where his contributions to mind-body healing and personal transformation were highlighted.
Outside the world of hypnosis, Philip holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and coaches with the same discipline, strategy, and focus he brings to all aspects of his work.
